![]() ![]() This amp can do jams and small gigs, if not competing with a full band and a loud drummer. To tone it down a bit, I sometimes plug my Tele into the Low input (6dB difference). You don't get tons of clean headroom turn it up to 10 o'clock level or past and you'll get some edge to your cleans. The amp can do bedroom levels, but it's also a loud 35 watts. And the circuitry in the teal stripe is said to be much the same as the TT versions, just wasn't labeled that way yet. The Lead channel has Saturation and Post controls, w/ "Bottom" and "Edge" for EQ, and spring Reverb.Īs for what tacomamc said about TransTube, I'm not sure I'd say "best sounding," but I do like them. The Clean channel has 3-band EQ and a bright switch. The speaker in mine is unlabeled, but is pre-Sheffield or Blue Marvel. ![]() The teal stripe version of the Envy 110 is early 90s, pre-TransTube labeled, 35 watts, High/Low inputs, 2 channels. ![]() Like SamClemons, I can't vouch for the Audition, but if small-ish, older, 90s versions of MiM (Made in Mississippi) Peavey SS amps appeals to you, sounds like an Envoy 110 might be to your liking. ![]()
